Suffolk County, New York has had 20 Tornadoes since 1950. the last one hit Islip Terrace in 2007 and it was an F-1. Suffolrk County uses Firehouse Sirens for Tornado Warnings instead of Tornado Sirens proably becasue of the expense of buying and reparing Tornado Sirens and besides that the Firehouse sirens in Islip Terrace are Loud Federal Singal Thunderbolt Sirens anyway.

i live in the dayton area, we have actually had a tornado at one of the malls i cant remember which one it was but it was scary as shit

You NOT saying Twisters Never hit New York.... you just saying New York never has got that many severe Tornadoes at nighttime before, right? because i know some towns in New York have Tornado Sirens, but others like New York City Dont.This year 2008...Arkansas has had the worst amounts of Tornado Outbreaks in history! I talk to people who lived in Arkansas all their life and they said this NEVER happened before.. |
