I bought my son that Proactive stuff. He had really bad blackheads on his nose area. It looked like you could just rub them and theyd come out but if we squeezed them, they went straight down in his pore. The mask stuff that comes with it worked WONDERS on his face. In less that a week his nose was COMPLETELY clear and has stayed clear, thank God. I hate to see anyone dealing with acne. They should make it a medically mental/emotional problem so people can get it paid for through insurance.

At 15, I had very severe acne, very severe. My mother wouldnt let me take accutane because the doctor told her if I got pregnant I could have a 2 headed baby. I wasnt even sexually active then. I hated her for so long over that because people that have never had to experience the turmoil, low self esteem, EMBARRASSMENT, SHAMEFUL FEELINGS, etc. they just dont understand. It was terrible for me. I thank God now that Im hitting 40, I dont have it near that bad anymore. I wish you the best!

You know what I hate? When you have a little acne, like, one whitehead, you treat it, goes away, and right when it goes away another pops up, and so on. WTF!!! It's like God is toying with me!

I've been on accutane for less than a month and my cystic acne is already starting to clear.. My blackheads are pushing themselves out its really weird.
